Looks like it came straight from the store.

Transforming old vases into chic, high-quality decorative pieces can be both rewarding and budget-friendly. Using a simple technique with baking soda and paint, you can create a stunning art pottery look that mimics the texture and appearance of expensive ceramics. This DIY project is perfect for anyone looking to refresh their home decor without breaking the bank.
These art pottery vases can be styled in a variety of ways to complement your interior design. Place them on a mantelpiece, use them as a centerpiece on a dining table, or arrange them on a shelf alongside books and other decorative items. Their neutral and textured appearance makes them versatile enough to fit into minimalist, bohemian, or rustic decorating themes.

Makeover of an art ceramic vase

Materials:

Old vases (glass or ceramic),
acrylic paint (in the color of your choice)
, baking soda,
paintbrush,
mixing bowl,
sandpaper (optional, for a smoother surface)

Anwendung:

Allow the paint to dry completely between coats. This will ensure a smooth and even surface.
If desired, you can lightly sand the surface of the vase for a more rustic look.
Once the final coat is dry, your art ceramic vase is ready to display.

Variations and tips:
For a unique touch, experiment with different shades that complement your interior design. You can also apply a touch of metallic paint to the edges for a more glamorous look. If you prefer a more rustic appearance, use a darker color and lightly sand the surface to reveal traces of the original vase underneath. Furthermore, you can apply this technique to other items such as flowerpots or candlesticks to create a cohesive look throughout your home.
